telc B1 Score Calculator: Written and Oral

The telc Deutsch B1 consists of a written and an oral part, which are assessed and passed independently. Enter your scores from a model exam — the calculator shows both percentages separately.

Written part

Reading, Language Elements, Listening, and Writing together make up the written score. The exact distribution is stated in the current telc model exam.

Oral part

The oral part is assessed and passed independently.

Passing threshold

60% is set as default. The binding threshold is stated in the current telc model exam or examination regulations — please check there.

Result

Enter points and maximum points for both parts to see the result.

How it's calculated

  • For each part: Percentage = points achieved divided by maximum points of the part.
  • Both parts are compared separately with the passing threshold; the exam is only considered passed if both parts reach the threshold.
  • A strong oral part cannot compensate for a too weak written part — there is no compensation between the parts.

The score distribution and binding passing threshold are stated in the current telc model exam or examination regulations. Therefore, maximum points and the threshold are input fields here and not fixed assertions; please check the default setting of 60% there.

Official Sources

The information from the examination office is always binding. This calculator does not replace an official result.
