What a school account gives you
A school account is a workspace: one or more classes, each with a teacher and a group of students. Teachers can assign specific practice items or full mocks to individual students or to a whole class, see aggregated progress at class level, and drill down to a single student when something looks off. Students see only their own workspace and only the assignments their teacher has released.
The four IELTS sections are structured so that Listening and Reading self-score against fixed keys, while Writing and Speaking receive rubric-aligned feedback aligned to the four public band descriptors. Teachers can override the feedback, add their own notes, and use the result as the basis for the next lesson.
How this fits into a typical prep course
Most IELTS preparation courses run 6–12 weeks. Preparaio slots into that rhythm as a supplement to classroom time rather than a replacement: teachers use the platform for homework assignments between sessions, for the mid-course diagnostic mock, and for the final calibration mock before the exam. Class time is freed for the parts that only a teacher can do — live speaking practice, targeted feedback on essays, and rebuilding weak grammar patterns.
- Assign Section 1 Listening or Passage 1 Reading as homework; class time is spent on Section 4 / Passage 3.
- Assign a Task 2 essay after every class; teachers can accept or edit the automatic rubric feedback before the student sees it.
- Set a whole-class mock in week 1 as a baseline and again in week 6 as a mid-course calibration.
- Use per-student dashboards to plan one-on-one time where it will matter most — usually Writing or Speaking.
What we do not claim
We are an independent preparation platform. We do not administer the IELTS test, cannot book test dates on your students' behalf, and are not authorised to certify results. Any band figures shown in our practice interfaces are estimates aligned to the public descriptors — the only authoritative band is the one on the Test Report Form issued by a British Council, IDP or Cambridge test centre.
We also do not publish success rates or 'guaranteed band' figures. Learning outcomes depend on the student's baseline, the teacher, and time on task; no honest platform can promise a specific band.
Getting started
The simplest path is to book a short call: tell us how many teachers and how many students, how long your prep course usually runs, and which sections your students typically find hardest. We provision a school workspace, set up your first class, and invite your students. Onboarding usually takes under an hour of your time.
Pricing for school accounts depends on cohort size and length. We do not publish a single per-seat price on this page because the honest answer requires a short conversation — most cohorts do not fit a single template.
